Come support the WAVE Foundation during the Cherry Pickin' 5K race on June 1st!

The race begins at 8:00a.m., with check-in beginning at 7:00a.m. The race will begin at Leona Valley Elementary located at 9063 W. Leona Ave Leona Valley, CA 93551. 

Enjoy the beautiful scenery in Leona Valley with the entire family! Awards will be given to the top 50 finishers, regardless of age/gender division. For additional information, including pre-race registration, please see the flyer below.

Westside Union School District is hosting the Empowering YOUth event at Joe Walker Middle School on May 4th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00p.m.

Some of the exciting activities during the event incluede: interactive drum show, performers, BMX bike show, FREE bike repair, bike rodeo, farmer’s market, art activities, food trucks, robotics, high school club information, outdoor games, and much more! Westside Union School District, in partnership with All It Takes, is proud to offer an experiential field trip for parents at The Painted Turtle in Lake Hughes.

Parents will gain invaluable insight as you explore the activities, curriculum, and personal development skills that your children are learning in Leadership Development Through Physical Education - LDTPE.

Date: Monday, May 6, 2024 Time: Bus departs Joe Walker Middle School at 8:45 am Bus returns to Joe Walker at 5:15 pm ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST TAKE THE BUS. Lunch will be provided. Dress in comfortable, athletic attire with layers. For additional information, please see the flyer below.

The Boys and Girls Club will be providing a summer enrichment program for Quartz Hill Elementary Schools beginning on June 10, 2024 through June 21, 2024. The program will be hosted at Sundown Elementary School and transportation from QHE will be provided for the students who need it.
